Description
Feeding the birds is certainly the easiest way of observing them and ways to get closer to them. One of the most suitable forages is the seeds of striped sunflowers, as they provide birds with an abundance of energy that is especially needed in winter due to the low temperatures. We start feeding the birds when snow cover appears in nature or when the night-time temperatures drop below 5° C. We feed up to half a kg of sunflower seeds per bird feed per day at most until there is greater lasting warming and the snow cover completely disappears.
